This is the sixth of a successful series of workshops that aim to bring together the data management, wireless networking, and mobile computing communities. The previous workshops took place in Seattle, WA, in conjunction with MobiCom 1999 ( 1st MobiDE workshop ); in Santa Barbara, CA, together with SIGMOD 2001 ( 2nd MobiDE workshop ); in San Diego, CA, in conjunction with MobiCom 2003 ( 3rd MobiDE workshop ); in Baltimore, MD, in conjunction with SIGMOD 2005 ( 4th MobiDE workshop ); and in in Chicago, together with SIGMOD 2006 ( 5th MobiDE workshop).
