More detailed information is available in MySQL Documentation.

Note: you need to use machines in 218 IST to connect to the database.

Open a new terminal and use the following command to establish a connection

mysql -h chunk -u %username% -p

where the %username% is your psu account.

You will be prompted to input password, which should be emailed to you earlier. You can change your pass word by:

set password = password("%your new password%")

Now the command prefix should begin with ">mysql", choose a database before any action, using the following commands:

show databases
