Personal:

I am a graduate of the University of Richmond (2002) with a B.S. in Computer Science and minors in Biology and Business. During my time at UR, I sang as a member of the Octaves, worked for Residence Life for two years and was a TA for the intro level CS classes.

In 2004, I received my M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Penn State University. I am currently working on my PhD and am being advised by Dr. Tom La Porta and Dr. Patrick McDaniel.

I am an avid road-cyclist and love exploring the remote corners of Pennsylvania on my bike. My other interests include playing golf and hiking. It's also safe to say that I'm a huge sports fan and love to watch Penn State Football and Richmond Basketball.

I have also been extremely fortunate and traveled to many parts of the world. On the left is a picture of me photographing penguins at the British Base of Port Lockroy, Antarctica. More pictures, taken by my father and myself, are available at www.seantraynor.com.
