Research Interests

My research interests are broadly in file and storage systems in high performance computing and large-scale distributed systems. My current focus is on improving application performance by efficiently managing shared system resources while providing certain performance guarantees to applications.

Dynamically managing shared resources is a challenging problem as it requires detecting the resource requirements of concurrently executing applications at runtime. I am currently focussing on techniques for reducing destructive interference among applications executing in shared environments.
