About me
I am a Ph.D student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University. My research advisor is Dr. Mahmut Kandemir. I am a member of MicroSystems Design Laboratory.
Prior to joining Penn State in Fall 2007, I worked as a software engineer for more than a year at Infosys Technologies Limited in India. I received my Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University in 2005.
During the summer of 2010, I interned at the Computer Systems and Mathematics Division in Oak Ridge National Lab. I was mentored by Dr. Sudharshan Vazhkudai. I also interned at the Storage Systems Group in NEC labs, Princeton during the summer of 2011. I worked with Dr. Erik Kruus on energy-efficient management of storage systems.
My interests outside of computing include swimming, photography and travelling.
