Information For Prospective
Students
Dear Prospective Student:
Thank you for your interest in our research group.
Incoming students are advised to complete at least one course with any of the
MDL faculty before starting their research. They are also encouraged to attend
the Microsystems Systems Seminar Course (CSE 597) to familiarize with on-going
research. After completion of one course with any MDL faculty, qualified
students will be eligible for research funding. Except for students with
outstanding credentials (research papers in reputed international
conferences/journals, more than one year industry experience in field of
research or in top 1% of graduating class), new incoming students are not be
eligible for research assistantships. However, few teaching assistant
positions may be available. Due to high volume of requests received, we
apologize for not being able to reply to each individual financial aid

for details on applying to our graduate program.
