I am an assistant professor in the Computer Science and Engineering department at Pennsylvania State University. My research interests include high-performance computing, parallel graph algorithms, and massive scientific data analysis.
Prior to joining Penn State in Fall 2011, I was at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory for three years, first as a Luis W. Alvarez postdoctoral fellow, and then as a research scientist. I received my PhD in 2008 from the College of Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology, and my undergraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
