I am currently pursuing my PhD in Computer Science at Penn State and a member of High Performance Computing Laboratory (HPCL) where I work with Prof. Mahmut Kandemir and Prof. Chitaranjan Das. I did my Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering at MIT, Anna University. My current research broadly focuses on Distributed systems with emphasis on resource management, cluster level heteroenity and energy aware scheduling. I also plan to work on Internet of Things and emerging architectures of Cloud computing (Serverless computing and Container as a service).

Part of wifi firmware team. I work on adding a new software power management feature for Qualcomm mobile WLAN. Designed High level design document and participated in complete development process. Verified use cases for SW power management feature and was part of complete feature design and implementation.

Worked on Linux android power optimization. Run several use-cases on android phone and find ways to minimize power consumed in the device. Design scripts to enable tracing in device. Also facilitate smoother integration of open source optimization techniques into Qualcomm propriety software for mobile devices.
