About
I joined Facebook as a Research Scientist in Jan 2008. I am now working on solving crucial advertising and monetization problems for the company. I received my B.S. from Fudan University (2004) and Ph.D. from The Pennsylvania State University (2007), both in Computer Science. My graduate research was co-advised by Prof. C. Lee Giles and Prof. Hongyuan Zha. My dissertation was on machine learning and data mining of social documents and heterogeneous social networks. Before joining Facebook, I interned at Yahoo, Google, and NEC Labs during 2005 - 2007. I'm a co-developer of CiteSeer-x.
