My research focuses on security issues as they relate to storage systems, large-scale systems architectures, and networks. Recently, I have been exploring how advances in storage technologies can be used to improve the state of systems security. By autonomously enforcing policy, storage devices can ensure the security of data even if the host is compromised. Some of my other research areas of interest include security in interdomain routing, propagation of malicious code through the Internet, and using secure hardware to enforce systems security.

I am planning to graduate in the summer of 2010. My application materials are available to view.
