Netlib A respository of FREE numerical software.
LAPACK A collection of FREE numerical linear algebra routines.
MATLAB Commercial Interactive Software for Numerical Computing.
Octave A MATLAB compatable freeware language. Designed for UNIX/Linux type systems. It comes as part of Red Linux version 9.0 . To run on Windows systems you need Cygwin a Linux like environment for Windows.
