Work Experience
Senior Software Engineer; Wipro Technologies, Global R & D, Bangalore, India. June 2000 - July 2002
IBM Summer Research Internship, Raleigh, NC May 2005- Aug. 2005
Developed a two-phases power management algorithm for X-series servers
to minimize power consumption and maximize system throughput. First,
designed an on-line training workload prediction mechanism for
fine-grained and decentralized Dynamic Voltage Scaling (DVS) control.
Secondly, formulated a mathematical programming of merging and
co-locating client workloads into X-series servers as a stochastic bin
packing problem for coarse-grained and centralized server power control.
Devised a balanced-variance client workloads packing algorithm for
effectively solving the formulated math programming of clients’
co-loaction.
IBM Summer Research Internship, Yorktown Heights, NY May 2006- Sept. 2006
Research Assistant, Department of CSE, The Pennsylvania State University
Aug 2002 - Present.
Teaching Assistant, Department of CSE, The Pennsylvania State University.
