The Advanced Laboratory for Information System & Analysis (ALISA) aims at providing solutions to challenges in the areas of Bioinformatics and Netcentric Computing.

In the area of Bioinformatics, research is being carried on in order to investigate novel approaches to manage and analyze gene expression data generated from DNA micro arrays, and integrate these approaches to pharmaceutical research.

In the area of Netcentric computing, we do research in areas related to mobile ad hoc networks, and QoS routing algorithms that optimize network resources and have a low message overhead for the Internet scenario.
