Biography:

Kyusun Choi received his B.S. from Lehigh University in January 1985, M.S. and Ph.D. from Penn State in May 1987 and in May 1993 respectively. He joined Penn State as an assistant professor of Computer Science and Engineering effective fall 1993. Dr. Choi received an Outstanding Teaching Award from the Penn State Engineering Society.

His current research involves the invention, analysis, and integrated circuit implementation of key communication system blocks such as data converters, frequency synthesizers, and clock recovery systems, all targeted for highly integrated, low-cost communication systems. He is highly experienced in analog-digital mixed-signal chip design, and he is the inventor of four Penn State invention disclosures. In addition to his academic research, he regularly consults at several communications companies.

Mixed-signal VLSI circuit design, RF ASICs, and DSP architecture for RF signal, 4G Wireless Wrist PDA, Embedded Microcomputer
