Biography:
Dr. Kandemir is an associate professor in the Department of Computer
Science and Engineering at Penn State. He is a member of the
Microsystems Design Lab. Dr. Kandemir's research interests are in
embedded systems, programming languages, compilers, power-aware
computing, dependable computing, and input/output systems, and he is
the author of approximately 300 research papers in these areas. He has
served on the program committees of forty conferences and workshops.
His research is funded by NSF, DARPA, and SRC.
He is a recipient of an NSF Career Award and the Penn State Engineering Society Outstanding Research Award.
