Professor Yuan Xie and His Students Receive Best Paper Award as ISLPED 2011

The paper "Analysis and Mitigation of Lateral Thermal Blockage Effect of Through-Silicon-Via in 3D IC Designs" written by Yibo Chen, Eren Kursun, Dave Motschman, Charles Johnson, and Yuan Xie won the best paper award at the International Symposium on Low-Power Electronics and Design (ISLPED) 2011 held in Japan in August 2011. ISLPED is the most prestigious conference for research of recent advances in all aspects of low power architecture, design, and technologies.
Chen is supervised by Professor Yuan Xie. Congratulations to the authors of the paper!
