Student Travel Grants
(for India-based Students Only)
We are pleased to offer
travel grants for India-based students to attend PPoPP-15 (15th ACM SIGPLAN
Symposium on Principles and Practice of Parallel Programming) and/or HPCA-16 (16th
IEEE International Symposium on High-Performance Computer Architecture), the premier conferences for leading work on parallel programming and
architecture, respectively, to be held in Bangalore, India from January 9–14,
2010. These funds are generously provided by various Indian government agencies
and Industries.
We encourage students of
Indian Institutions to apply for the travel grants and make use of this
opportunity to attend the top conferences on highly important fields. The
conferences will enable the students to get exposed to state-of-research in the
fields and interact with the leading researchers and practitioners.
The travel grants are
limited in number and are provided on a merit basis.

The travel grant will
include:
Students on travel
grants will be asked to provide volunteering services in the conference.
Eligibility requirements
Each student should be
enrolled in a postgraduate (M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc/M.Phil/Ph.D.)
program in Computer Science or related disciplines such as IT, Software
Engineering at an Indian university or educational institution.
Final and pre-final year B.E/B.Tech students are also eligible to apply.
Please note that this
grant is available only for students from Indian Educational
Institutions.

the application. The vita must include:
Incomplete applications
will not be considered for the award.

Selection
A committee will select
the recipients based on the evaluation of the application material.
